In this Extended Range Operations (ETOPS) course, you’ll get introductory and refresher training for Part 135 flight operations at extended ranges from adequate airfields. This course can be used as part of your company’s training plan to help satisfy the requirements of 14 CFR 135.345(a)(8) (initial training) and §135.351 (recurrent training) if included in the Operations Specifications and approved by the Principal Operations Inspector (POI). ETOPS became effective August 13, 2008.
